We've just migrated from co-located servers and an old version of Visual Studio (2k5) to Visual Studio Online (w/ VS 2k13) and Azure. We're using an Azure VM running IIS8, not an Azure website.
We've loaded our solutions into new VS2k13 Web Applications and I've worked out all the build errors and obsolete code. However, I can't seem to get Web Deploy to work. I've followed all sorts of different instructions and threads I've read but can't seem to get it to work at all.
What I can't seem to find is a basis How To anywhere to deploy a website from VS2k13 to an Azure VM using Web Deploy? Can anyone please link me to a basic how to article that explains the set up on the server and the client to get this application deployed?
